sampson
so get darwin ports and install from source, the steps are on their site (you need xcode instaled) http://darwinports.opendarwin.org/getdp/ it's really easy to make, just like a linux app... extract ./configure make sudo make install then you do in terminal: sudo /opt/local/bin/port install gettext sudo /opt/local/bin/port install libiconv

suleiman
can't you just install from the .dmg file they have compiled on the darwin ports website? edit: cancel that, I managed to install from source following the steps on their site, and ran the commands to install the other dependencies, which did also install successfully. The only problem is that i can still only add bonjour client. This is really frustrating Edited December 4, 2005 by suleiman
paulicat
Just make sure you followed sampson's instructions exactly, and that you are running at least 1099 or 1111.

mpeters13
I was so happy when this was released. Thanks so much . /me hugs adium svn
JoeP
thanks a lot, it works fine! i've added an article to the wiki to explain the full thing (had some minor differences: need to sync darwinport, and libiconv was installed automatically) here is the link: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.ph...library_install
