I have been having a great deal of difficulty getting a Mac ROM that works with SheepShaver. I used TomeViewer to extract the ROM from the Mac OS ROM Update 1.0, but when I try to use it with SheepShaver I get an error saying: "Invalid ROM file size. SheepShaver requires a 4MB PCI PowerMac ROM." I have also tried extracting a ROM from a PowerMac running OS 9.0 using CopyROM. When I use the 9.0-extracted ROM with SheepShaver, it will open a black window, and give me the error message: "Unsupported ROM type." ... I have done extensive research online, and almost every site claims that extracting the ROM from the Mac OS ROM Update will work. Why is it not working for me?
