If you install X-Code (2.1) be careful not to install the CHUD tools. If you do so (I did) your machine will kernel panic on 80% of the installatino and then kernel panic on each boot. That's on my SSE machine. With deadmoo or maxxus patched kernel's, same result.

I had to boot in single mode and remove CHUD* from /System/Library/Extensions . After that I could install Xcode 2.1 without problems.

Since the base partition is a bit small I had to remove java, X11 and (sadly) documentation. Documentation alone is about 800 mb! But you can always read it online.

Any way to install documentation on another folder? and add some softlink?
