squeeky Posted August 17, 2005 Share Posted August 17, 2005 If you install X-Code (2.1) be careful not to install the CHUD tools. If you do so (I did) your machine will kernel panic on 80% of the installatino and then kernel panic on each boot. That's on my SSE machine. With deadmoo or maxxus patched kernel's, same result. I had to boot in single mode and remove CHUD* from /System/Library/Extensions . After that I could install Xcode 2.1 without problems. Since the base partition is a bit small I had to remove java, X11 and (sadly) documentation. Documentation alone is about 800 mb! But you can always read it online.
