Awesome!

Been hacking away at several of the tutorials for this with no luck at all. then i found this thread and front Row works for me now!

You have to launch it from apps - then while the icon is in the dock hit enter and escape - at least that is what did it for me.

thank you so much for this.

Put this in /System/Extensions/IOUSBFamily.kext/Plugins/

delete extensions kext cache files.

Install Front row using pacifist.

Repair permissions.

Reboot...

Press CMD-Esc to start front row.

Go to the activity monitor and force quit one of the front row processes (there should be 2) Doesn't matter which one.

Then it should either appear after that or press CMD-Esc again to get it to come up.

I did this exactly and It worked fine. May not work for you but give it a try.

Hi all!

If you want a easy way to install front row pass the click me :)

Hi, Neo. Thanks for the installer. While the script seemed to run perfectly, I still can not get Front Row to launch...

I know that Front Row is properly installed because when I boot up from the same drive using a MacBook, Front Row launches with no probs. But on the Mac Pro, it just won't do it... I've tried plugging and unplugging the Mighty Mouse hundreds of times already. ;)
