Gcrumpets Posted February 5, 2007 Share Posted February 5, 2007 im attempting to install Jampack 3, rythm section on to my powerbook. im using a purchased dvd too no downloaded dmg's or anything. Part 1(software instruments) installed just fine and when i went to mount the Part 2 section (the loops) it failed due to "input/output error" so i skiped the check process and mounted it and tried to install but everytime i try it fails at 43%, after exploring the files ive found that the loops are in a Archive.pax.gz file but for some reason its corrupted because when i try to copy it to my harddrive it says some of the data cant be read and when i try to extract it to my harddrive it fails. so im asking if anyone knows of a way to fix this, or if theyve experienced the same problems. im hoping to find some way to repair a pax.gz file or something of the sort because i think that is the problem thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
