Mail was working fine until yesterday. Did a software upgrade for Airport, Security and I-Chat and now half the mail arrives, activity viewer is frozen (activity wheel next to inbox continues turning and I have to force quit mail. Open mail again and the same happens. I can receive emails on another mac fortunately (for any emails sent from the forum).
PLEASE HELP!

Mail version , etc , OSX version. So I can patch mail and send it to you

If its AMD , I would need the 'exact model name/number/revision'

My problem isn't quite the same - but it started yesterday - when I click on "New" or "Reply" or "Preferences" (that's all I've tried so far!) Mail crashes. I'd just reinstall Mail if I could find it as a stand alone somewhere.
I'm using 2.1.1 (752.3) on an iMac, OS: 10.4.11 (build: 8S2167)
Any help you can offer would be terrific. Even a recommendation for another Mail client! Anything that will work.

I have the same problem. Mail loads forever with spinning mouse cursor and not only when i start it.
