hello,

I've got an acer laptop with an integrated webcam orbicam 1.3 mega pixel.

I can't found any driver for this webcam, macam or ioxpert or ichatusb, nothing work.

Under linux ubuntu there is a driver (you can have more explanation on this page http://ubuntuforums....ad.php?t=322218 )

Is there anybody, who can make this webcam work under OSX jas 10.4.8 ppf1 kernel 8.8.1

With the new macam 9.1, my acer orbicam is reconnize but I've this message in macam "communication problem on usb port", this an english translation of the message in french on my hackintosh "problème de comminucation sur USB"

anybody ever had this message once ?

I have an Acer 9410, and I think its the logitech version of the camer That I have, but Macam doesn't see the camera..

Anyone else got the camera working for this laptop?

I get an interesting problem on an Acer 9424WSMi. Macam powers the orbicam up (it's a Logitech btw) but what I see, whether with Macam or PhotoBooth is a green screen. Images and videos recorded are just...well, green.

So, no go here, either, unless some new development has been found. :/

when i try macam it doesnt even detect my orbicam, has anyone made any progress or has anyone made thei orbicam work succesfully?

acer aspire 9424 (9420 seriers) with Logitec Orbicam 1.3 megapixel. the camera regconized but when i press the play to see the camera it says communication error i think or something like that.

i tried msn, skype, yahoo but no luck ! so no working yet for Acer 9424 to saaad !!

I have successfully installed Snow 10.8.6 on acer atom D255e. the only closest thing I have had working my notebook cam is a program called EvoCam 3.7.5. working the cam.
