retroz
Tried burning a bin file in toast, got an error after trying to mount it. Thought I would look into .bin to .dmg conversion, if it exists. Thanks
A Nonny Moose
Well, a bin file is handled by Stuffit, isn't it? I'd just unstuff it and then throw it onto a disk image.
macgirl
bin files are hanbled by StuffIt but BIN/CUE images should handled by Toast (or Nero, other). With Toast you can mount the image or you can "burn" it to another image, ISO or DMG Once it is mounted you can also use Disk Utility to create a DMG. I´m sure that there is a command for Disk Utility or other app that can convert BIN images to DMG

Have tried them all. I recently used tomatoe to do a new download, got a torrent, then it expanded but is just a file with no extension, 588MB large... says h-pr3a thats it, no extention. weird, maybe I need to do on a PC? Have reason, but wanted to try it on the MAC.
BRP
I keep checking and checking, but it seems that with Macs (for now), if it don't work in OS X itself or Toast, then it don't work anywhere =\ (someone really ought to look into reverse-engineering some of these formats. I stamp in great annoyance at CCD files!)
JackieO
I mistakenly downloaded an KVCD that was in .bin/.cue form and easily converted it to .mpg by using this app. Gumby here http://gumby.misplacedmac.com/. When you open Gumby press the SVCD button on the botton of the window and hold the Alt. key down and the Process key flips to extras, click extras then add the file that you want converted and create a new folder for the converted video or file then press okay. Gumby itself has alot of options...maybe with this you can find something to make it into a .dmg. Hope this helps 8-B Kimberlie
