kevin_4e
Hello, I was just kinda curious at how well everyone else keeps their iTunes library organized. As for me, I always organize my songs into: Complete Song Name Album Artist Genre and Album Artwork
Orea
I always organize mine by Album. I rarely use Cover Flow. James

U.C.
I normally rename my files as Artist - Title. All files have full ID3 Tags. Also in my Music directory, each artist having more than 5 songs have their own sub folder. I mostly listen to Trance and the likes, so it not necessary that all songs of an artist are good. Also full albums are rarely good. Plus when you have a 2000+ song collection with new songs coming in every day and old ones being deleted, my music folder is organized and iTunes is normally on Shuffle Play. If I want a song I search in the spotlight thing. Edited January 29, 2007 by Unstable Connection

nickg331
everything has complete title artist album and usually genre info. dont really do the ratings thing...
kevin_4e
The reason why ratings don't work (for me), is that the music I like today, will not be the same in a month.
erbic
Almost everything's ordered by title, artist, album, and usually genre. I haven't actually rated a song since a couple months after I got my iPod. Most stuff has album art if I can track it down, as a portion of my music was acquired using... "alternate means". Problem is that the album art on Amazon isn't formatted properly (not wide enough) but I don't know a better place to find it. Anyone? I need to get around to stripping the DRM from my iTunes music so I can share it all to my Xbox 360. Pain in the ass not being able to play bought stuff. kevin_4e
I know. It's amazing what you lose when paying for music. Albumart.org is a good place for both CD's and DVD's. It's not a whole lot different than Google Images but whatever. I wish it was possible to get the images from iTunes onto music that you didn't get from them.
