Hakit
I modified the text in the airport ktxt so it would support my built in wifi card. It worked as the baseball dimond wifi logo appears now. Ive tried to set up an internet connection and all my attemps have proven useless. What do I need to do to get connected? Ive scanned the fourms and couldnt find anything. Any help at all would be extremely appriciated as its useless w/o internet. Im running Jas 10.4.7 repack.
CDub50
you might try and search by what wifi card you have installed there are a couple of different flavors my ASUS W3000 has an intel w2200 b/g card but this card is not supported natively. First you should figure out what wireless card your laptop uses then try searching for solutions for that specific model. I know that there are some people in the forum community working on a couple of different mini-pci wireless laptop cards.

andnever344
you need to download an older IO80211family.kext, and add your pci id to it
