try that

1) Get the device id of the ethernet controller.

Go into Windows -> Device Manager.

Find the ethernet controller and get Properties on it.

For mine, it is

vendor 11AB

Device 4351

it might be different between machines. please check!

Click the Details tab and read the vendor id and device id. The vendor id is going to be "11AB"

2) In OSX, go into Terminal and edit the following file:

sudo nano /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleYukon.kext/Contents/Info.plist

if u get an "Open with" dialog, right click the file and click "Show Package Contents"

Scroll down and find the following:

<key>IOPCIPrimaryMatch</key>

<string>0x436211AB</string>

Replace the bold numbers with the device id you found above.

Save the file.

Exit the file.

3) Delete the following files. In Terminal, type (or copy and paste):

sudo rm -r /System/Library/Extensions.mkext

sudo rm -r /System/Library/Extensions.kextcache

4) Repair permissions. In Terminal, type:

diskutil repairPermissions /

5) Reboot

you have the same vendor and device :( 0x435111AB

Thanks to Taruga.

I've a triple boot Windows/OSX/Linux.

I used v1.12 patcher and my codec dump acquired from Mandriva 2007.0 (core0)

Codec is stac7661.

- Microphone....Not tested.

- Headphones...Must be activated in System Pref/Sound/Output

I have Sony Vaio VGN-N150G and I installed Mac OS X 10.4.7

here are the problems:

1- high CPU Tempreture : 62C to 71C. is it natural? how to solve it?

2- Sound Card doesn't work. I have a Realtek High Definition Audio but I can't find the chipset model? How can I find it?

3- How can I safely upgade to 10.4.8? can I simply update through Apple, online?

4- How about power management? can you see your battery status in Mac? or do you get any warning when it goes to finish?

1- I think you cant solve it =/

2- Try the taruga's patcher (let see his topic)

3- Try JaS 10.4.8 Update, no you cant upgrade trough Apple, you may have a instability system

4- Powermanager works very well, yes we have a warning
