jasonk Posted January 19, 2007 Share Posted January 19, 2007 When I finalize the CD in the Sony camera and then mount it on the Mac, most images are able to be seen/copied however a handfull (maybe 2-5% of total) I cannot open or preview. Tried many different applications that came with the Mac and a few that I've downloaded. Any windows machine (that I've tried) can see all files so my work-a-round has been to grab all the files using Windows and then use network transfer to copy to the Mac, then it sees all files OK. I am thinking the problem is likely related to (or exactly) what is described on the following URL: http://www.tow.com/software/jpeg-jfif_repair/ however the software provided there will not function on my Mac (perhaps OS version or Applescript, both are far newer than required). !insanely Posted March 16, 2007 Share Posted March 16, 2007 hi, this error just because these phtot added by other info, yes, jpeg-jfif_repair can fix it, if you don't want to use this, you can use some software open these photos under windows, then "save as" to another image file.
