Embio
wouldn't it be easier to put these on a central server somewhere and 'somehow' point our 'software update' applications to it? okokok so Apple would string me up by my balls for making such a suggestion, but it would be easier for us and Mr. Mac

DiaboliK
anyone else notice in the PPC update the new darwin kernel is 8.9.0?
Ampidire
This build fixed everything I had problems with in the last one, including the retarted Applications folder that would randomly create itself in my user folder, and the fact that the dragging into the HD would open in a weird sized window so i'd have to drag to the bottom to reach the rest of the folders. Now it opens the finder while dragging and dropping to the normal size I use it at, which is nice. So far so good. Thanks a LOT mr.mac!

asapreta
I had some problems updating my hackintosh to 10.4.9 I used the delta update and before restarting I copied over my backuped mach_kernel, system.kext, ionetworking.kext and applesmbios.kext But when I restarted it hang at logonwindow.app I managed to get an 10.4.4 logonwindow.app and replaced it, then I keeps not booting but now complaining about could not finding an extension and something related to ACPI.... Any clues?

curlyboy
Yeah i went back to 10.4.8 as the new 10.4.9 broke something because my ut2004 just kept crashing (lol) but the first 10.4.9 worked well so ill stick with either 10.4.8 or the first 10.4.

alc0h0lic
So did anyone tried the same installation method as with the 8P2117(intel) update on their hackintosh? Any success with backupping AppleSMBIOS, IONetworking, IOATAFalmily, System.kext, Loginwindow.app, mach_kernel and then installing this baby ?
