Romanche
Hi, thnks for reading. Plz help me, exactly my audiocard. I was Logic user in Windows.(5.5.1) But recently I received RME multiface(Hammerfall DSP multiface) from my friend. So I wanted to use MAC and installed Jas 10.4.8 at first. but 10.4.8 couldn't catch RME even PCI slots. My friend told me that he succeed installation in Jas 10.4.6. Soon I re-installed Jas 10.4.6 quickly, but It didn't work. I don't know why it doesn't work. I'm sure RME can be supported in MAC. Plz help if u r Logic user in Hackintosh. My brain can't overclock. Thnks.

limini
Intel Macs don't use PCI, they use PCI-Express. X86 on a non-mac system is simply not legal. Therefore there's absolutely no reason for RME to create Intel Mac drivers for running the Multiface PCI card on an non-Intel Mac, and in fact doing this would be very embarrassing for them. Their current Mac drivers for this card support the PowerPC Macs with PCI slots. The rumor mill says they're working on a PCI-Express card and associated drivers for the Multiface/Digiface series. Perhaps these drivers will work or be modified to work for the older PCI card, but that's pure speculation. In the meantime, onboard audio, firewire or usb are the solutions to look for x86.
