MacRetail
Perhaps you could try to run PearPC instead of Qemu? I don't think QEMU is any faster then PearPC. PearPC runs 10.2 and 10.3, too. official PearPC site PearPC emulates a PowerPC-Mac. Edited January 14, 2007 by MacRetail
Colonel
Perhaps you could try to run PearPC instead of Qemu? I don't think QEMU is any faster then PearPC. PearPC runs 10.2 and 10.3, too. PearPC emulates a PowerPC-Mac. QEMU is using mostly native instructions allowing it to go at near native speeds. PearPC has to completely emulate a PowerPC Mac making it an absolute snail. Besides, we're trying to obtain a Intel native version of Jaguar here. Not trying to emulate it.

Dragon
I've created a thread in x-labs that we can use. F41qu3 : It is possible, but we would have to create/implement a power-pc emulator in the kernel to run everything, which would make OS X perform like a snail. There are 3 possible ways this can happen WITH a decent speed. 1. We can get ahold of this Jaguar-marklar build. 2. We can try use old extensions in tiger, if possible. 3. We can emulate using qemu. The easiest to do is number 3, which is what we are trying to work on. This thread from now on, is for obtaining the Jaguar x86 cd. All information/discussion for OS X on SSE is now moving to here : http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=38763 Dragon

A Nonny Moose
Or you can always grab an old 10.2 install disk and use XCode to try and pull off a miracle and make the entire install universal...
