Matthew-N Posted December 29, 2006 Share Posted December 29, 2006 Hi guys, I have installed Jas OSX86 10.4.7 using VMWare. No error throught the whole installation progress Sound working, Network adapter working. But Now I only can use in VMWare, so I download chain0 and edit boot.ini. But when I select OSX86 on startup it showup a chain booting error. I think is because My OSX86 partition is not active so chain0 cannot find the partition. So do I have to active the partition? The only thing I worry about is in Acronis Directer suite says only 1 primary partition can be active at a time. I already have my Windows XP partition active, so will I experience problem if I active my OSX86 partition? I will wait online for answer, so guys please help me with this. Thanks! Rammjet Posted December 29, 2006 Share Posted December 29, 2006 Only one partition on a disk can be active. You want the partition with the bootloader to be the active one. I set to active but still don't seem to work, I still get chain0 error, and Acronis OS selecter cannot get in to MAC. Any idea how to make it dual boot?
