imrazor
My Macbook recently lost the ability to boot from the OS X partition, though Windows still works OK. When booting from the Mac OS X partition, I get the usual spinning logo, then it either shuts off completely or kernel panics. I found one post on the Apple support forums about moving the swapfile, but when I booted in single user mode and attempted to move the swapfile I got a kernel panic. Then I booted off of the OS X install disk and ran Disk Utility, which then reported an "Invalid sibling link" and aborted. I did some research online (from Windows, of course) and found that Disk Warrior seems to be the only hope. Does anyone have a less expensive alternative?
