Useful Files

This is a compilation of many different files available in postings on the board. It is not exhaustive. If you don't find what you want, search for it.

Please do not post questions in this thread looking for a solution that is not listed. Use other threads for that. You may find that if you do post questions, moderators of the board will remove them based on the request not to post them.

Please do post other good, known files in this thread. I will try to incorporate any posted files into the list. Otherwise, users can read the thread for any other listed files.

Note: I did not download and verify each and every file. You may find that the link to the file is broken or the file has been taken down either by the poster or by the board administration. Post broken links and I will see if anything can be done to fix them.

Nice work. This is going to help me get the audio working on the BadAxe2 for sure. Thank you.

These are redundant.

These are redundant.

Redundancy is intentional. I have redundant links on many files when I could find them.

For instance, if you follow the first link to download the file, you will find that your link on that page is broken while the link on the 2nd page works.

Links are going to break over time and having multiple sources for the same files is beneficial.

Plus, I cannot examine every file out there to determine if they are exactly the same or have been modified slightly differently. That is for the user to decide.

The server that host files crashed weeks ago, and loose some files (some avatars too).

So if you see link to a Thread (not a file) that is reffering to the same hardware is better to ask there because not all of the original posters know that their threads or files were linked here.

Yah, but what he's sayin is that most of THOSE links are PHHT, Broken, ergo we don't KNOW if it was a link to a file or to a thread. Moreover, if it was a link to a POST, it would be a good idea for someone to gather what is left, and put em in here. Can you attach files to posts? Yah I see the mechanism "down there"

That would do it. If anyone has any of the missing files, they could post them here. That way we do not have to do another 3 to 4 hour search through the forums to find something that we had already thought we had found (but really didn't cos most of the links are PHHHT)

Or, someone could check the links to see which ones work, and delete the ones that are either redundant or non existent heh?

Oh Yah...

Someone xposted this to China:

http://bbs.pcpchina.com/index.php?showtopic=123935

And then someone xposted it to JAPAN:

http://bbs.pcbeta.com/thread-134045-1-1.html

But they neglected to xpost either the links or the files, so worthless the x-posted pages are.

But I'm looking for AppleVIAATA_963.kext.zip which don't seem to exist anymore cos the only place in the world it existed was in that thread that is missing, or on the guy who posted it's hard drive, or maybe on someone who posts in here's hard drive: So if anyone's got that, feel free to post it anew, cos that is one of the files that got disintegrated in the server crash.
