Ok, so, I was poking around in the Multibooter folder on the Rhapsody DR 2 disc & decided to open up Multibooter 1.0d11 & Rebooter using ResEdit. Suprisingly, staring me in the face was this tiny hint to BeOS

Both the boot utilities have a last modified date of 4/9/98. I thought that the Apple & Be talks were only in 96/early 97

Suprisingly, ive seen this a while back. I was attempting an install of Rhapsody on some very unsupported mac hardware (a 6150/66 Workgroup server) and decided to see what was in each program because at the time i was a huge resexcellence fan and was alwys modding my macs with resedit. i saw those and didnt think too much of it because i had remebered about the whole BeOS/NeXT decision and how there were R/D people at apple testing betas prepared by Be on some macs to see if it was feasable. Hmm, rhapsody guru, you may have some friendly competetion
