guitarman149 Posted December 7, 2006 Share Posted December 7, 2006 Hi being probably one of the first to put logic express 7.2 and the serials on the net ive been playing round with it for quite a while. I use it on an osx86 box similar to bofors original with an edirol FA-101 soundcard. I was just wondering if there was any upsides of starting my installation over again with 10.4.8 and the new kernel? hope someone can let me know. munky Posted December 7, 2006 Share Posted December 7, 2006 with the new kernel, LOTS more kexts work, and lots less patching is needed. my system has the complete 10.4.8 Combo update from apple applied. once that was installed, all i replaced was the kernel and one kext, and it works flawlessly. its also faster.
