Alucard!
I installed hackintosh on my computer with the cd. When i reboot it works just fine. All the drivers are accepted and it boots up just fine (Exept for the ethernet and sound card that is integrated so it cant find it) But the problem is that i want to run it in VMware Workstation now, and when i try to run it it just will not work . It will be stuck on the start when the white boot logo comes up. Now i think there is problems with VMware (something with drivers are different there) But can i modify VMware Workstation the same way that it would just boot my computer normally?? Help! Please? Callysto
If it worked native why change to vmware? Just because your audio and network didn't work doesn't mean the installation isn't working! You can get most devices working with slight modifications to certain files. Post your hardware details as it's impossibe to comment on fixes otherwise. Rammjet
You have a Soundmax 1986a audio system. The following guide is for Realtek, but people have had success using it on the 1986a. Read the Appendix on the bottom first to get the numbers you need: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=18642 You have a Realtek 8111B LAN. Try the driver here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=29436 or try this installer: http://www.necnet.de/krass.man/Installers/...0Installer.html For x1600 video, follow the Boris link in my signature. Posting #1 gives a manual method. Posting #3 gives an installer method. They perform slightly differently and different cards work better with one or the other.
