is this possible ive read through the forum and havent found anything(maybe i just ran over it and didnt see it) but was wondering if possible and how. thanks.

AFAIK nope. It seems that NATIT plays with the X1x00 kexts. But they told us that may be in the future tho. I`m just expecting to see that happening, like you....

The thing is, there is no framebuffer driver for cards below X1x00-Series. There are drivers for QE an CI but these are so called High-Level-Drivers, basically the same as ATIRadeonX1000.kext and others.
Natit cannot do anything about that, as it is no graphics-driver. Natit is "helping" ATINDRV.kext to load, and ATINDRV.kext has no support for 9700 at all.
