zfire89
what was apples purpose to release 6, and why wasnt 6 just called 5.x or something and is this a universal binary
blahsucks
Release 6 can download videos and play them on the new video-enabled white and black iPods, as well as on PCs.
niteice
Geh. Apple does this all the time. Right after you upgrade something or buy a new product they come out with a new major revision of what you just got. I finally got iTunes 5 last weekend and now they introduce 6. When the iPod nano came out, there was a lot of outrage from brand-new mini and shuffle owners.

enb14
anyone tried upgrading quicktime yet? I wouldn't recommend you to install quicktime, last time when I upgraded to 7.0.1 it crashed my OSx86 so I had to reinstall it again.
