Brinkley
I have VMware Workstation 5.5.3 Build 34685 running on a Dell Inspiron E1705 (Core 2 Duo, 2GB mem). I have been able to successfully install and reboot MaC.OsX.10.4.5.Universal.Install.DVD(INTEL-AMD-SSE3-SSE2) using an iso image. Once the system reboots, the mouse drives to the upper left corner and will not move regardless of using either the USB mouse or the trackpad. Has anyone experienced this? Any suggestions? My VMX config file is listed below. config.version = "8" virtualHW.version = "4" scsi0.present = "TRUE" memsize = "512" MemAllowAutoScaleDown = "FALSE" ide0:0.present = "TRUE" ide0:0.fileName = "mac-osx.vmdk" ide1:0.present = "TRUE" ide1:0.fileName = "E:" ide1:0.deviceType = "cdrom-raw" floppy0.present = "FALSE" ethernet0.present = "TRUE" ethernet0.connectionType = "hostonly" sound.present = "TRUE" sound.virtualDev = "es1371" sound.fileName = "-1" sound.autodetect = "TRUE" displayName = "Mac OS-X" guestOS = "winnt" nvram = "Windows NT.nvram" usb.present = "TRUE" paevm="TRUE" ide0:0.redo = "" ethernet0.addressType = "generated" uuid.location = "56 4d f1 34 c7 ac 1f 06-cc b5 d6 a8 24 36 a6 c2" uuid.bios = "56 4d f1 34 c7 ac 1f 06-cc b5 d6 a8 24 36 a6 c2" ethernet0.generatedAddress = "00:0c:29:36:a6:c2" ethernet0.generatedAddressOffset = "0"
