Help with Sierra audio & boot to blank screen.

Hi all,

I have a working Hackintosh Sierra with Nvidia Web Drivers, HDMI audio and have injected the Drivers as per the Clover configuration file (as the nv_enable = 1 Boot Flag no longer works).

The only issues I have are as follows:

* When the OS boots I see it loading via -v (Verbose) mode, but before it comes to the login screen of MacOS the screen goes blank. I can get into Mac, but I have to turn the monitor off and then on again. After that the login screen is visible and I can log into MacOS. The visuals are good, with no glitches. Possible graphics / drivers problem? I have an Nvidia GTX 980 TI.

* The audio works on the desktop and when playing games, but it doesn't make any sound when I watch videos via Safari.

Does anybody have any advice for how to go about tackling the above?

Many thanks, Bill.

Hi again,

I have solved point 2 by changing the Midi settings under System Preferences. Audio now seems to play from videos on the Safari browser. Whoop! All that's left now is point 1!

Thanks, Bill.

I should also note that before the screen goes blank, the screen goes fuzzy. The P.C still responds to commands, as if I type my password in correctly, turn the monitor off and on again, then I appear to be logged in.
