BALDY_MAN Posted January 31, 2018 Share Posted January 31, 2018 @xyphersoftwere30 This article was copied from the Geforce site The problem is that the GT-630 was/is not designed for any type of "gaming" outside of Flash (ie: Facebook) coded browser games and multimedia use. This is the reason as to why the card does not have "any" way to remove the thermal output from the VRM and Vram modules as it's not designed to sustain the heavy load which "gaming" provides. There is not thermal probes/sensors on the card for the VRM and Vram modules which have a MUCH lower heat tolerance than the GPU itself. So if your GPU is reaching temps upwards of 100*C, just imagine the thermal load on the rest of it's components. With that being said; there is a very high probability that even if you are able to get your GPU temps under control, the "card" may be damaged beyond repair.But "yes" sometimes changing the TIM can make an improvement.
