If I upgrade to a larger SSD do I have to start over or am I able to clone the current SSD and restore it to the new SSD and it work perfect? Is so what software should I use? chris1111 Posted December 31, 2017 Share Posted December 31, 2017 you can restore it with the command asr restore but must do it on another macOS High Sierra because you can not Unmount the main drive ssd. You need also reinstall Clover to the target SSD to make the SSD Bootable Or clone the ssd with Carbon Copy cloner and reinstall Clover to the target SSD to make the clone Bootable Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
