Thubb Posted December 14, 2017 Share Posted December 14, 2017 Hi, I currently have OSX Yosemite (10.10.5) running in VMWare Workstation 12.5.8 (with unlocker 2.0.8). Now I wanted to upgrade to MacOS Sierra 10.12.6 (16G29). I mounted "Install macOS Sierra 12.6.03.dmg" in OSX and executed the installer. After some time it reboots and finally I get into a kind of OSX "recovery" console. What am I doing wrong? Is a direct upgrade not possible in VMWare?
