Nancy10
Hi! I had tough time making my Atheros AR956X WIFI card to work on my Asus X556U, so i bought a Ralink usb adapter with 150mbs speed. I installed the driver which was labeled to work for OSX 10.5, but the USB adapter is not detected even by the dedicated app from Ralink. i attached the gen_debug output, please help. Thank you. debug_6767.zip

I don't know exactly how this work, but i need it to. can you help ?
Nancy10
Doh! You could have started with that, because that's an MT7601 chip, not RT5370... Look for the relevant driver at the same place provided by c.frio. https://www.mediatek.com/products/connectivity-and-networking/broadband-wifi I couldn't find any drivers for macOs, mediatek only have windows drivers for MT7601. i tried to install drivers for MT7612 ( the only ones available for mac ). it didn't bring any results other than the wireless utility not opening and the usb dongle not working. i found a post on tonymac but the link they gave for El Capitan drivers which are supposed to run okey on sierra is not available anymore. https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/wireless-usb-dongle-ralink-mediatek-mt7601-for-sierra.222263/
