okay to help out i guess all the other 7300GS and 7300GT users are missing out on is dual screen. I guess i just cracked it...

Here are my working kexts: Grab them Here

etc etc

Anyhow, thanks DiaboliK, your kexts and $115AU got me working dual screen and tv out on my hackintosh! I bought an ASUS 256mb EN7300GS, DVI and VGA + Tv out. It works perfectly with your kexts! ;)

oh yeah forgot to add it worked in these combinations for me:

VGA + TV out

DVI(using vga adaptor) + TV out

Or VGA + DVI using a real DVI cable, not a DVI to VGA adaptor, then it only works on the monitor you plug in first.

you better do a search for x1600xt

then you will find that there is no way for dual display with x1600xt

Hello. I have a Toshiba Tecra M2 Laptop, with Geforce FX Go 5200 graphic card (id: 0x032810de), and running 10.4.8, which is installed by using Jas 10.4.8 Intel AMD SSE2 SSE3 DVD. The only thing I want is to have CI/QE enabled with my internal LCD (I don't need dual-screen).

I found that: if Titan / Natit is installed, there is a line in log file shows the display device was

NVDA,Display-A: vram [00000000:01000000]

and then the screen turns to black. (System still running)

but if I don't use them, the system can be displayed but no support for CI / QE. And this time, the device is

VGA: vram [d0000000:10000000]

Is this a problem?

I did a lot of test to find what was wrong. Detailed information can be seen here:

http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=46340

My hardware: Geforce FX Go 5200 (0x0328 10de), Intel 855 Chipset, Centrino 1.6Ghz(only SSE2)

Thanks anyone can help me.

Hi there,

I use Natit_Uni_1.0.pkg with my ATI X1300 Pro PCIe / DVI and everything works fine. My resolution is 1680x1050 an I can play e.g. Quicktime Trailer (720p) with no problem.

But the "SystemProfiler" says:

I edited my /System/Library/Extensions/ATIRadeonX1000.kext/Info.plist but that doesn't help, obviously!

So here is my kernel log:

Any suggestions? VLC dosn't work because of the CI/QE problem, right?

Thank you,

Anyone else get a blue screen after using Neo's 1.0 installer for Natit?

I have a X1900XT with device id 7249, but I get no dice. Maybe I need to edit something or should the installer be picking up what card I have and making the appropriate changes?

The card is a HIS X1900XT 512mb (IceQ3) Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks! and keep up the good work :)

(I get the same result whether I use dvi or a vga adapter)

edit:

I should note that I'm using JaS 10.4.8 Intel AMD SSE2 SSE3

I get the same result with both of the x1000 series driver choices on the install disk, also.

I have an Asus X1900CF 512MB and also using 10.4.8 JaS, I could only get it to work with JCCool. You might want to try that if Natit doesn't work for you, don't know why but natit doesn't work for me either (tried all kexts manually, and also diabolik's installers.

Diabolik:

I have an MSI 7300GS PCIe card, and dual vga/LCD's (one is on a DVI->VGA adapter). I copied Diabolik's three kext's and rebooted. I don't think I should have to edit the Info.plist files, as my devid 0x1fd already shows up in the GeForce.kext.

During the boot, After the Natit: messages, I get a few messages saying:

kextd_watch_volumes: couldn't setup diskarb sessions, diskarb not ready, try again soon.

Then IOKitWaitQuiet() timed out

Directory service: Launched version 2.1

Login Window Application Started

And then everything just hanges there.

I am on 10.4.8/8.8.1/AMD.

I should mention that I can't even get Natit or Titan to work on a single display. Though without them, I do at least get a gui, no kext loaded, no QE/CI, dual monitor.

Any suggestions?

black screen? bluescreen with mouse?

or just login window started text?

Just the text.

During the uninstall, I borked something, so now I can't boot to GUI even without the Natit stuff. I am in the middle of clean re-install. So it will be an hour or so before I can actually test any suggestions.

I just read here (http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=47783) that proteo had his eVGA version of this card (7300GS) work out of the box with Natit 1.0, I am assuming that means without editing any Info.plist files. So it seems odd that my MSI version of the card doesn't work. All the ID's seem to be the same.

Ok,

Back up and running. Just tried the 1.0 universal installer.

Next I added tried the Natit.DualV2. And I am back to the "Login Window Application Started" text, and hangs. No mouse, no black nor blue screen. Just text.

I tried "Natit_ATIauto.kext.zip" for my HIS ATI Radeon x1650 Pro, it detected it ok and allowed me to change resoultion, CI, QE, Q2E etc. weren't working but I never edited any values (I forgot how to find out which ones I needed! (and also what file to edit!)) so I assume it would have worked if I had, it's also worth noting this was using DVI and that was working fine.

Then I found a Pre-Config'd x1650 Pro AGP driver tried that and everything was enabled to used that instead (because i'm really lazy at heart :))

How to edit natit.kext?

Can anyone explain how to add my device id (02e0) to natit.kext?

This Site says:

10.4.8/8.8.1: AMD Final SSE2 SSE3 from Piratebay but without NV40 and X1000 , then installed latest Natit. 6600 TDH works perfectly, 7600GT need to edit Natit.kext and NV40 to include the device ID (02e0). Dual display works flawlessly on 6600, but on 7600 GT, digital output doesn't work, only works by using a convertor making both output analogue, which is bad for my cheap LCD display.

But how?

sorry for my English and that am new to mac osx ;=)
