Does anyone have this board?

Mind sharing your config, even a basic one for skylake would be a good start and if you already have everything set to go in the config that would be cool too.

Pointers on what I might need to do would be helpful as well, all the posts I have seen were for El Capitan and mentioned using a starter config for skylake.

I'm ready to back up my old HS install and get started on this one, I already have some kexts I will need.

USBInjectAll

AppleALC

Lilu

AtherosE2200Ethernet (with E2400 support)

OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi (just incase)

Thanks guys

Edit: added picture of where it hangs using a generic config I found elsewhere and OsxAptioFixDrv-64.efi, tried OsxAptioFixDrv2-64.efi and it wouldn’t boot at all got a prohibited symbol.

On mobile and can’t edit, hopefully it merges...

Just realized clover isn’t injecting the Kexts, I guess the latest version uses the 10.13 folder for 10.13.1 and not other.

Try that when I get home.

Edit: Still won't boot into the installer, I am only using the kext for the ethernet, fakesmc and it says it cannot find a mac address in the verbose boot.

not really sure what to try next, i feel out of place with a computer this new, maybe should try the config and stuff MaLd0n has posted and see what happens.

It's working :D

Got it to boot to the installer with OsxAptioFix2Drv-64.efi

To the install by adding npci=0x2000 and nv_disable=1 (probably didn't need that)

Now the dreaded OSInstall.mpkg appears to be missing or damaged error...

attaching current.zip for Pavo, it's the current clover folder.

trying to figure out why my video card isn't working as expected...

adding the full EFI for dreadkopp

trying to figure out why my video card isn't working as expected...

adding the full EFI for dreadkopp

Edit:

Adding this here, I figured it out... I needed EmuVariableUEFI.efi installed, but it seems only after installing HS since I was having problems booting into the install... come to think of it, my problem may have been the old usb patch and not the efi file.

This is what I did to get my video working.

completely wiped my drive, erase as exfat and mbr, erase again as Mac journaled guid, partition as apfs if needed. (I did)

install as normal.

on first boot of installed os enable sip.

install clover and edit config if needed with Nvidiaweb checked, with ccv install emuvariableuefi.

install Nvidia.

reboot and profit.

I also have lilu and nvidiagraphicsfixup in other folder with the rest of my kexts, possible over kill, but my last install died completely when I tried to boot without it and do these steps.
