I don't have anything against the current theme, but I prefer darker themes because they're easier on the eyes. You looking on a lightbulb, so there is no difference witch color it would be, but yellow would be less stress. p.s. people who read dark on bright and what you proposing, welp, you need to read/learn some basics of how ur eye works.
