ALC892 won't work and I've tried everything

I am building a new mini ITX system using the Gigabyte GA‑B250N‑Phoenix WIFI and it uses the ALC892 audio codec.  I am able to install macOS Sierra 10.12.6 but no sound plays after I install the ALC892 kexts.  Options appear in the output tab on the Sounds System Preferences.  Yes, I selected the output option to Internal Speakers and yes, the speakers are connected to the green on port on the motherboard.  I've tried all of the guides and watched tons of youtube videos, but none of them work.

I am tempted to get the GA-Z270N Gaming 5 motherboard which uses the ALC1220 codec.

Does anyone have a solution to this issue?

Thanks!

Did you tried the latest AppleALC kext and Lilu kext? both kexts should be placed in kexts folder in EFI/Clover/kexts/10.12, of course then you should find the Audio number in the ''Devices'' of the ''config.plist'' which I don't know which number matches your audio device, try 1,2,3,5,7,11,28,... (I really don't know) my ALC1150 works with 5

Also, those two kexts should be set with -lilu and -alc in boot ''Costume Flags''. But first you should remove any kext you have already installed.

alc892 is compatible with applealc with layouts 1, 2, 3, (4 for laptop), 5, 7, 28, 31, 92, 99.

Requirements are original applehda in s \ l \ e, applealc and lilu the latest version in efi.

in the config.plist section of the devices \ audio try a layout at a time, restart the PC and control the audio
