Allubz
Dear everyone, I'm currently running a nice Dell Precision 7710 with 10.12.6, and it's going quite well. The only things I'm having trouble with now is that sleep returns to a black screen (I set pmset hibernatemode=0), and I can't seem to control the brightness. Pushing Fn+F8 keys or higher also freezes the system (I suspect this may be related to the brightness control, though). I hope someone can help me out in the right direction to get these two things working. So far this is a great laptop, and even the TB3 port is fully functional. I'll soon upgrade it with an NVME drive and 32GB RAM, as I ordered it to test this bleeding edge hardware first, and upgrade later. I have attached all files I can think of are relevant, so I hope someone here will be able to help me further with these two issues DSDT.zip IOREG 7710.zip SSDT-origin.zip EFI.zip
Shane_Meng
It's very glad to see somebody hack the m7710. Could you share your handbook how to do that? I'm very new for hackintosh.
AaronCampbell72
How were you able to get macOS to load onto your Precision 7710? I have the same model and I created an install USB2.0 drive in #####. My laptop will load into the Clover install menu but when I select "install from Mojave" the laptop just reboots back into the Clover install menu. Here's a pic of my verbose screen that appears just before it reboots back into the Clover menu
