Greetings all.

I am running a Gigabyte X99-UD4 board with Intel i7-5960x CPU, 32G RAM, and 2x GTX750i video cards.  So far, things are working very well.  LAN and Audio are working 100%, but I am having issues with USB ports and CPU frequency.  I am hoping someone (MaLd0n) could help if possible.

  • The X99-UD4 board has 10x USB connectors on the motherboard face plate.  The top set of ports (4x USB2) are working fine.  The next set of ports (4x are USB3) work at USB 2 speed.  Of last set of ports (2x USB3), one port works at USB 3 speed and the other does not.  The two front USB ports are working as expected at USB3 speed.  I have added the XHCI-x99-injector.kext to the CLOVER/kext/Other directory to try and fix that problem.
  • As mentioned above, my CPU is i7-5960x (8 cores at 3GHz) - overclocked to 4.3GHz in BIOS (all other settings are default).  The system is very fast and scores 32970 in the multicore Geekbench4 test.  However, it seems the CPU constantly hovers between 2.75 and 3.3GHz (as per the Intel Power Gadget tool) even if I am not using it.  I have run the Pike Alpha ssdtgen tool and put the correct ssdt.aml file in CLOVER/ACPI/patched directory.  Still, it seems the CPUs are not idling as expected (1.2GHz expected idle).

I have attached my CLOVER directory in hopes someone can take a look.  I generated a new DDST.aml file today (F4 from clover boot menu) as well as a new ssdt.aml file per Pike Alpha's tool.

Thanks for any help!
