Can you help me to disabling nvidia card? i've done step by step carefully with this guide http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/295584-disabling-nvidia-optimus-card-on-all-laptops/ but i still have my nvidia card running. My laptop is Dell Vostro 5460 with Intel HD4000 and NVIDIA GT630M graphics. I attach my DSDT and my config.plist file also, i suspect if anything wrong in my config.plist but i have no idea what it is because i'm new in hackintosh. Thanks in advance.

i already patch DSDT and SSDT with Rename GFX0 with IGPU from Rehabman + the guide that i mention above.

Sure, here it is.

In your patched DSDT you are calling

\_SB.PCI0.PEG0.PEGP._OFF

which is not defined anywhere.

Give me half an hour and i'll attach the patched acpi tabes :thumbsup_anim:

Edit:

Replace your SSDT-6.aml with this one.

Sorry, i'm new to hackintosh and have no idea about writing a patch code, just following the tutorial. I've tried to replace the SSDT-6.aml with the SSDT-6.aml given by you, but still get my nvidia running.

Don't worry, i was trying to be "minimal". :D

Copy your actual bootable efi on a usb stick (in a "worst case scenario", you'll still be able to boot).

Then replace your DSDT and SSDT-6 with these two:

As far as i'm aware, your config is ok. Try adding this SSDT to patched folder.

still same here, FYI what i've done with the DSDT and SSDT before are:

- Dell XPS 13 [battery]

- Brightness fix (HD3000/HD4000)

- Add IMEI

- HPET Fix

- IRQ Fix

- OS Check Fix (Windows 8)

- RTC Fix

- HDEF_Patch

maybe there are patches that are lacking? or there are any conflict with those patches?

I think my SSDT-6 isn't correct. I'll try a few patches later in the afternoon.

It can be disabled. It has become a challenge :D .

I'll attach another ssdt later.

try this: attachicon.gifDSDT.aml-michaellan12.zip

Use only dsdt and remove ssdt from acpi/patched

Oh i forgot to mention that the SSDT-1 is the result of native power management using ssdtPRGen.sh from Piker-Alpha. Should I delete that?
