Degrading audio quality when using USB/Firewire audio interface

A have Sierra 10.12.6 installed, and most things are working as they should, except for USB or FireWire audio. I have a Behringer X32 with a combination USB/FireWire card, and whenever using that for my audio interface it starts out working fine, but then about 2-3 minutes in the audio begins to degrade rapidly. It gets buzzy and noisy, then add choppy to that, until within a couple more minutes it's just pops and clicks.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing that, or how to fix it ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, especially since my primary purpose for this machine is recording / mixing through Logic Pro, which requires the use of my USB or FireWire audio interfaces.

Thanks

UPDATE:

Found a video on YouTube of someone experiencing the EXACT same problem as me with the same interface. Turns out there is a firmware issue with the USB card in the interface with newer MacOS systems, and it is a card that is no longer supported by the developer. Problem solved.
