Certain USB devices not working on Sierra?

I have a custom built hackintosh, basic specs:

Z170-P Motherboard

6700K CPU

16GB DDR4 RAM

GTX 1080

500GB 3D SSD

Everything seemed to work perfectly since I updated to Sierra. GFX, sleep, hibernate, system updates, gigabit ethernet, HDMI, sound, literally everything.

Well anyway, in El Capitan all of my thumb drives worked. In Sierra (NOT High Sierra) which I updated to last night, it seems that now only my USB 3.0 external HDD's are being recognized.

My USB2.0 and USB3.0 thumb drives are not being recognized my Sierra anymore. They do not show in Disk Utility or in diskutil. The lights on the thumb drives are not lighting up either like they are not receiving power. They are still able to be used in Windows and in my BIOS though.

I have tried changing around my USB options in kexts and config.plist but to no benefit.

Has anyone had this problem? I have tried searching and it looks like the only similar problems are people's USB drives not working at all. Not like my situation, where only certain USB drives are working.

Please help, thanks.
