Nvidia Enabler and SleepFix for Snow Leopard

Hello,

I got for my Dell XPS One A2420 a patched dsdt.aml and now I have working QE/CI in Mavericks ;-) Now I'm searching for a working NVinject for Snow Leopard and Leopard. The computer has a nVidia GeForce 9600M GT which is detected as Asus GeForce 9600M GT 0 MB, but it works fine in Mavericks. Now I need a nVidia Injector for Snow Leopard. I've tested different versions of NVinject, NVdarwin and NVenabler. All don't produce an text output, just ATY_init says 'card 649 is already set'. If anyone knows more versions, it would be great.

All versions, Mavericks, Snow Leopard (and I presume Leopard) can't use sleep mode. I have SleepEnabler.kext in Mavericks and SleepEnablerNG.kext in Snow Leopard, they're loaded, but won't take affect. When entering sleep mode, the fans stay on and a simple press on the key reactivates the system. The Dell XPS One A2420 has an ICH10 chipset. My Zotac GeForce 9300 ITX boards also have no working sleep mode.

Leopard has booting problems, mostly depending on AppleACPIPlatform.kext, later IOUSBFamily.kext.

Other problems: The RICOH card readers won't be detected, I used patched VoodooSDHC.kext and AnyCardReader.kext. Because the volume is too high for the speakers with VoodooHDA audio, I'm searching for alternate ALC262 drivers. But until now I've really not found so much. The last problem is hardware-related, I upgraded the system to a Xeon L5430, the CPU is fully detected in the BIOS, but the fans stay on all the time. During booting, I get the message 'CPU fan failed' 'System fan failed' which is a common problem of these machines. The CPU is also too hot, about 65-68°C average.

Greets, naquaada.

The dsdt.aml was created by a nice person for me who had a short time the same display, otherwise I didn't had a visible image at all.

The model was set to iMac10,1. PStates and CStates was already checked. Sleep mode also doesn't work without SleepEnabler.

So, after a fan cleaning the CPU fan errors are gone and after a BIOS patch they're also not on full speed. Unfortunately, the CPU temperature is now up to 85°C, and the Xeon L5430 has a maximum of 57°C...
