AMD HD7970 for 10.11 to 10.12 biso

Here is for who have hd7970 public edition and want to use on osx.

I just offer 2 band HD7970 ( powercolor and MSI) (1dvi+1hdmi+2minidp)

 

Way to flash your hd7970 (it's support 10.10, 10.11, 10.12)

 

1. flash the hd7970 on dos mode, bye atiflash.exe

2. backup your org hd7970 bios

    atiflash -b 0 back.rom    (the 0 or 1 please type   " atiflash -i " it will show your display card number is )

3. flash the bios

    atiflash -f -p 0 stbefi.rom

4. restart

 

 

the rom.zip include

 

unoc.rom

         it's over clock and work on MSI hd7970, but it's need depend on your display card health...your know ...

stbefi.rom

         I just adjust the clock for more stable. Running on AE with 4K render very stable.....(also MSI)

try2.rom

        above the 2 roms, MSI and Powercolor may work, you have to try.
