I installed Mac Os Sierra in my new hackintosh using the Clover Vanilla install method. during the install I had faced the problem of the screen getting stuck but I solved that with the IntelGraphicsfixup Kext file. After installation was completed. I Installed Clover on the SSD, moved the kexts over from the USB Clover to SSD clover and then restarted the computer.

since then I am stuck in a reboot loop. I have checked the bios, settings, tried the safe mode, tried booting into the USB clover install but no go. I see this before the system reboots:

OsxAptioFix2Drv: Starting overrides for: \system\library\coreservices\boot.efi" Using reloc block: no, hibernate wake: no" +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

what am I doing wrong?

My system isGigabyte z270 HD3PI7 7700KSamsung Evo 256 GBVengeanceLPX 16 GB 2400 Ram

Hi there and welcome to InsanelyMac.com :)

You can try with OsxAptioFixDrv instead of OsxAptioFix2Drv and add the KernelPm flag under the Kernel and Kext Patches.

thansk for your response. I am new to this so I am afraid I willneed a bit more info.

Do I replace this in the USB drive clover/Kext folder?

Also if you can tell me how to KernelPm flag that'd be wonderful.

You can use Clover Configurator to easily open and edit the config.plist you can edit the config.plist on the USB disk or on the internal disk that you just installed macOS on.

Use clover configurator's builtin EFI mounter to mount the EFI partition of your disk (the on you use to boot the macOS from USB or internal) open the config.plist from /EFI/Clover/config.plist and then from the Kext and Kernel Patches select KernelPm and save the config and reboot.

In order to change the OSxAptioFix2Drv with OsxAptioFixDrv you need to reinstall clover and select the OsxAptioFixDrv to install along with other necessary drivers that you might need.

You could also do it from C.C.  :)

Should I rename this to EFI?

And this goes in the EFI folder of the boot drive right ?

No just replace the clover inside the EFI folder you already have with this one.

And yes you can replace both clover folders

no go :/

If I try to boot from the USB I get this error before the Pc reboots:

OsxAptioFix2Drv: Starting overrides for: \.IABootFiles\boot.efi

Using reloc block: no, hibernate wake: no" +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

If I try to boot from the SSD installation of Sierra, i get this error before the reboot.

OsxAptioFix2Drv: Starting overrides for: \system\library\coreservices\boot.efi" Using reloc block: no, hibernate wake: no" +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

This same problem was happening yesterday when I started installing the OS. not even sure how I fixed it. I think someone gave me a config.plist that solved it.

Okay I changed the boot order in the BIOS to boot from the USB drive and now it seems to be showing all the black screen text as normal. the apple logo appeared too and I have loaded on to the OSX Install window (where they ask for the Language etc).

I tried loading the SSD installation of Sierra from the USB drive and it worked :)what do i do now ?
