I start brief topic about the new nViidia Pascal GT 1030

This new GPU nVidia GT1030 will come to position itself in front of the recent Radeon RX 550.

Seems to be a good middle entry level GPU More effeicient than GT710.

It's similary with the GT1050 but a little less faster.

The interest is the low size and the low power particlarly with the fanless version.

It provides an installation on itx or thin mini itx cases.

With the new nVidia drivers for High Sierra we should expect il will work OOB and provide respectable performance for curent usage.

They are some reviews about and we wait for a return of experience on your favorite hackintosh build .

Some reviews :

http://www.hardware.fr/news/15117/nvidia-lance-geforce-gt-1030.html

http://www.tomshardware.fr/articles/test-gt-1030-nvidia-gigabyte,1-64661.html

"Roughly, the GP108 is a half GP107 with 3 SM (384 calculation units) and a 64-bit memory bus. The GT 1030 has the same power as the RX 550 but benefits from a more efficient architecture. On the other hand, its bandwidth is much lower since it must be satisfied with a bus of 64-bit."

(models of the links are for exemple and not for buying recommandations)

Great to hear 1030 working!  Low power consumption!

Would (or does) ist work also in Sierra? Or  needs High Sierra?

Use normal Nvidia Webdriver or some special from Nvidial, pascal Webdriver?

Here my Nvidia GTX 650 (65 Watt).

So far I'm very happy with the Zotac GeForce GT 1030 (ZT-P10300A-10L). Installation of macOS Sierra via HDMI is possible, then installation of WebDriver-378.05.05.25f01 to have a driver.

Metal 1v1 and 1v2 are supported. 720p gaming is good, 1080p maybe on lower settings.
