El Capitan crashed my Dell 960 .

I had a image of both maverick and elcap !

so I just restored with my USB Maverick.

ElCapitan kept setting the the Bios to RAID, at restart or shut down.

I put it on the first partition  but no change !  Still a problem.

no way  to stop RAID in Bios.

got EL cap to boot !

copied extra file from installer and put it in Elcapitan drive.

Thanks Chris !!!! and his crew for their help "the installer " !!!

thanks to ##### and Mutibeast + clover

I have Sierra installed on 2nd partition.

took a little learning !

using maverick  portioned  usb guid > formatted journaled.

used chameleon wizard to set usb32g smbios to imac12.2.

made installer with ##### legacy

with Maverick used ##### to load boot files.

took twice to learn > follow cover setup left to right (no jumping around selecting).

most important is networking > did not work until I selected intel1000e.kext.

I made Sierra.dmg using Maverick. restored to USB Drive > boots and works fine.
