MacOS Sierra on HP Zbook 17 G3 - Help please!

Hey there,

I am trying to install MacOS Sierra on my new HP Zbook 17" inch G3. The specs are included in the attachments.

I currently installed Mac OS Sierra on my 2nd HDD (1TB normal HDD).

Windows 10 is installed on my main HDD (1TB nVME SSD).

I installed Mac OS Sierra through USB. I am able to boot into Mac from Clover with the following boot args:

kext-dev-mode=1

(Binary Patching:  0x000106E0)   + checked all options.

Mac OS Sierra is booting correctly from my USB (did not install ##### as of yet)..... not all my hardware is being recognized. I have no GL support (smooth graphics). Nor can i adjust resolutions.

The audio doesn't work, the onboard LAN + WiFi + Bluetooth doesn't work, and the onboard keyboard + mouse don't work either. My Touchscreen does seem to work :)

Is there anyone who can help me get everything sorted out?

Quick hardware list:

 • Laptop: HP Zbook 17" G3
 • CPU: Intel i7-6820 HQ @ 2.70GHz
 • Ram: 32 GB @ 2400 mhz
 • GPU: NVIDIA Quadro M1000M
 • GPU 2: Intel® HD Graphics 530
 • SSD: 1 TB NVMe Toshiba  (Windows 10)
 • HDD: 1 TB HTS HDD (Mac OS Sierra)
 • Audio: Conexant ISST Audio
 • Audio 2: Intel Smart Sound Technology Audio Controller
 • LAN:  Intel® Ethernet Connection (2) I219-LM
 • LAN2: Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit Ethernet
 • WIFI: Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260
 • Bluetooth: Bluetooth Device (RFCOMM Protocol TDI)

Thanks in advance!

Well,

Can you send the list of kexts you have in you EFI/CLOVER directory? as well as your Clover config.plist?

I suppose you're installing 10.12.5? so did you patch you install for Intel HD530? search this site for skylake graphics sierra and you'll find several entries on pblms with sierra.

Thanks for your reply! I have a perfectly clean install. No additional kexts. I didn't edit the config.plist or anything else.

I installed the regular Sierra yes. 10.12.5.
