OS X Sierra 10.12.5 / Asrock H81M-VG4 R2.0 (1150), Pentium G3260Nvidia 210 – ok

I got the nvidia 210 because people said it was compatible with Sierra … and it is!

They just did not say how, what data or where to tick or untick in some actual tools available from these amazing community…

Using CLOVER

So, here are some brief steps to install Nvidia 210 with the above components:

For my processor use the guide HOW TO G3XXX in this site… where uses <key>FakeCPUID</key><string>0x0306A0</string> </dict>

-       Download Sierra and use Createinstallmedia within terminal

-       Install Clover on it, I think I used r4077

-       Boot from the USB and reach the installer use arguments: <key>Arguments</key>

-       <string>slide=0 dart=0 -xcpm kext-dev-mode=1</string> and add nv_disable=1

-       The process continues after the first reboot (of course, boot from the USB and select the SSD or HDD where the new installation resides)

-       Again… after the second reboot same as the prior step (don´t forget the nv_disable option until you install the nvidia webdrivers)…

-       Personalize your installation, install the last nvidia webdrivers and install Clover, add nvda_drv=1 to the boot arguments and is not necessary the nv_disable argument anymore…

-       Use Clover configurator for better tuning the config.plist file.

Make sure you <key>Inject</key>  <dict>

Also <key>NVidia</key> <true/>

Use <key>NVCAP</key> <string>04000000000001000e0000000000000700000000</string>

<key>VideoPorts</key>

<integer>2</integer> </dict>

Some additional flags: <key>InjectKexts</key> <string>Yes</string>

<key>InjectSystemID</key><true/>

<key>NoCaches</key><true/>

<key>NvidiaWeb</key><true/>

You will need to mount the EFI partition (clover configurator can help with it) if you don´t finish retouching it the first time you install clover on the SSD or HDD everytime you wish to edit the config.plist

And now you will be playing with Sierra…

too many flags only one is enough inject Nvidia = true

why you need web drivers ? , it's working OOB till Sierra (I didn't install in High Sierra yet)

PS: if you get Asus GT210 it has UEFIGOP inbuilt (no need to modify bios )

Indeed, my test with an EVGA NVIDIA 210 was successful until i put all those arguments! mmm, let recreate the installer with (apart of the FakeCPUID for G3260) just the Inject Nvidia = True

<key>Inject</key>

<dict>

<key>NVidia</key>

<true/>

</dict>

and see what happens, because i don't remember it worked OOB for me this 210.

i am just reading how to set up my Pegatron RADEON HD 7570 (6570 rebranded), but i will post my questions in the proper section.

Saludos.
