Achieving 3440x1440 on Sierra

Hey guys,

So I have Sierra up and running well on integrated graphics (Intel HD 530). Used the IntelFix and Lilu to get that going.

However, my only issue right now is that my resolution is set to 1920x1080 and I have no sound. In displays it recognizes that I have a 30.5" monitor and that its the Acer X34, however the Acer X34 is 34" (not sure if this matters). I'm connected via HDMI, so I know the limitation is 30hz, but it should still be outputting 3440x1440 @30hz.

So far I've tried:

- Holding option+Scaled in Displays

- ScreenResx: This let me set the proper resolution, but wouldnt let me achieve better than 13.3hz. I'd also prefer not to use this tool if at all possible.

Any other options would be greatly appreciated. I might try to get my R9 390 working on Sierra soon - would that fix it?

If anyone has tips for getting the sound working, that would help too. I have the proper Realtek drivers installed AFAIK.
