By running the downloaded beta.app from Sierra then after first reboot boot from USB.

I just wanted to test USB boot but now I'll do it the other way.

I want to know that cecekpawon's new FF and FFM data can install beta1 or other high sierra without problem.

 

If you install fresh high sierra, tell me FF and FFM and BIOS ROM and BIOS date.

 

Still OSinstall.pkg not clear.

In my case, i didnt have problem to install HS dp1

I could install DP 2 from USB installer with no problem but when I tried to install the update from App Store I get the OSInstall.mpkg error

 

 

I'm downloading the installer to see if I can created another usb installer and see if it go through with a clean install.

Ok, i've installed beta 2 and now via enrollment the public beta. Both did the same thing. After the final reboot I am left with a cursor in the upper left corner of a black screen.

I have GTX560 and use inject nvidia. If i leave it awhile the screen goes completely black but the cursor comes back on using keyboard so the monitor is working.

I've seen some mention of this but didn't see a fix, any ideas?

I've also updated config.plist Mac 14,2 info mentioned in this thread and use clover 4097

I don't use automatic login.

If i use nv_disable=1 then i have a normal screen but it's slow and flickers. This looks like the same issue GTX260 users had going to Sierra and they had to use nvidiastartup.kext from el captian but i found a cheap GTX560 that solved that issue.

One thing i saw was that Microsoft Outlook won't work under HS .. for now. Also my Audio didn't work, didn't bother to try [url="http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/279450-why-insanelymac-does-not-support-tonymacx86/"]#####[/url] installing them.

Oh and i didn't do the APFS update, will leave that for another day.

Hello sherlock,My wifi card is BCM4322 and can use it in osx10.10 - osx 10.12 but cant use in osx10.13.

 

I have found id in bcm4360 and bcm4331 but with old whitelist patch it not working.

 

My id is pcie14e4,4353

 

And i find 10.13 have use NIC driver to replace bcm4360 but NIC donthave my card's id and i dont know how to remove the whitelist in NIC or bcm4360 in osx10.13.

 

Any idea to fix this.

I was able to install macOS High Sierra DP 1 and DP 2 with the same config.plist with BIOS Version: IM171.88Z.0105.B25.1704292104 and BIOS Release Date: 04/29/2017 I didn't add anything else. I used clover's built in FF and FFM

And I'm going to try a fresh install with:

Sometimes I get past that and get kp on the second boot.

My best attempts are installing to a seperate (NOT the boot drive) SSD with an existing sierra on it.

This is way harder than the developer beta.

I'm using a separate hard disk and it has the same error every time. I totally wiped the hard disk and made sure that there is no data on the EFI partition as well. But still nothing!

Beta installed. I did not need to put video kexts again. There was no modification of these kexts. Everything worked normally.

I redownloaded the whole app and reinstalled, maybe on update it won't update the kexts.

Yes that's correct they are not working withe a Fresh install, and the update from App Store was a no go either. For the update I didn't use the new BIOS version so I assume that it was my mistake, I'm trying to see if I can get passed the OSInstall.mpkg error so with a fresh install because I already removed the previous version of my macOS High Sierra.

I will be testing for some more and I'll be here if you need me to test new settings.

 

I also updated clover to 4100 and it's not working either.

Beta 2 to "Beta 2 Update 1" with software updater, only succeed for me with:
