Aha need to update apfs file for dp6 with vanilla.

Sorry my (coding) language :P

So the apfs.efi I have needs updating? Where would I find the one I need??

Thanks Sherlocks!

@surfinchina

You can find the apfs.efi inside the macOS High Sierra Beta.app

BaseSystem.dmg at

usr/standalone/i386

What is ffm ff? Just not use in config?

How about B.I? Thanks in advance

Fresh install of 17A344b and still B.I issue remains but not as bad. If i have laptop plugged in when booting no B.I but once booted if i unplug then replug the B.I pops up.

I use a Broadcom BCM4352 Azurewave AW-CE123H in my laptop, wifi works 2.4 and 5g but bluetooth isnt detected and when it was i had no handoff support. I have AirPortBrcmFixup.kext already. Which patches do i need to get bluetooth working in High Sierra?

Hi guys,

Another confirmation:

With Clover r4173 and WITHOUT FF and FFM and with old BIOS Version IM131.88Z.010C.B01.1706261419 and BIOS Release Date: 06/26/2017 I successfully installed macOS High Sierra 17A334b on my test rig.

Thanks to all the Clover developers and coders :)

R4173 automately determine to keep latest info between your smbios data at config and clover data.

Yes it is :) I wish that was true for nVidia Web Drivers for High Sierra as well :)

I hope so..  B) then I could design some themes under 10.13 instead of 10.11.6.. the results are same though, but with different taste & satisfaction (I think)  :P

I'll be waiting for that to happen since you are doing a great job with those themes and I love them :)

It's been gone since PB 2 or 3 I'm not entirely sure about the version though.

No I don't have this log. Maybe that's because I use APFS

OK, it's little bit strange since it looks like APFS conversion succeeded, but my running 10.13 partition is still using HFS+ till now.

Yeah that's odd, can you send me the "diskutil list" results? You can send it via PM if you don't want to post it in here.

There is no APFS partition available in the list.

That's why, another one (not strange but maybe something new to me, or I still just know); on Disk Utility.app within macOS Installer; after selected "Erase" from a Partition, AFPS is available by default from "Format" Option. Wait, but I didn't place apfs.efi on my EFI driver folder, AFAIK it was unavailable on previous beta's (or am I wrong?).

That's because the APFS.efi in the EFI folder has nothing to do with disk utility, When you place the APFS.efi in the EFI it will give the Clover the ability to detect and boot from APFS formatted volumes.

But APFS format in the disk utility is built in to it. macOS loads the APFS framework from its files not the EFI partition ;)

AFIAK formatting APFS was available from the first DP but your right in the latest version HFS is selected by default unlike the previous versions.

Thanks for explanation, I like it.. it answers my curious.
