Hello all,

I am attempting a new Hackintosh build on OS X Sierra (10.12).
Before have an Asus P5k with El Capitan with legacy bios and NO DSDT
so never used DSDT before
The new one
It gives a kernel panic every single time.
I use the Clover bootloader

Hardware:
Mobo: GigaByte Z97 HD3
CPU: i7 4790K
RAM: 2x8GB Crucial
GPU: intel HD4600 built in vi hdmi or dvi
HD: seagate 3 tb

Process:
Step 1 - Download OS X Sierra from AppStore
Step 2 - Format USB GUID
Step 3 - Create Sierra USB Install Drive PANDORA BOX UEFI
Step 4 - Install Clover Bootloader
kext
FakeSMC.kext on 10.12 anmd other folder of clover
only this one
Step 6 - Clover config.plist
nv_disable=1 dart=0 -v
smbios 14.2
tried many variations as haswell patch , change 10.10 to 10.12 for os
Step 7 - BIOS Settings
load default
VT-d Disabled
XHCI Handoff > Enabled
Secure Boot > OS Type > Other OS
Step 8 - Boot to USB (Kernel Panic)
try to inject hd4600 0x04128086 as device-id.....
I not use DSDT i think it is required but not know how to do
see image of kernel panic
thanks
Best regards

For ethernet you need to add the following kext file to your clover folder. Use clover configurator to mount the EFI partition on the macOS

read the "Post Install" section of the guide MaLd0n posted. Under Audio and Lan drivers you'll find what you are looking for.

download the kext for LAN and copy it inside the following folder: /EFI/EFI/Clover/kexts/10.12

These are the files you need:

hd4600 glitches and suppose QE/CI doesn't work because the top bar is not transparent

audio alc887 not know how to fix

when boot stop long time here: ACPI dinamy table load

VARIOUS ACPI EROORS

when i reboot stopped a long time here: restart still waiting on IOUSB

I try the F4 on clover boot but don't where it put the file generated suppose on efi folder

however i make a compress file with efi folder + runme.app + ioreg

delete folde apple cause too big

thanks in advance

REPEAT HARDWARE

mobo: Gigabyte Z97-HD3

load default bios with vt-d disable

audio: ALC887

cpu: i7 4790k not overclocke (for now)

gpu: intel hd4600

ram 8x2 corsair vengeance ddr3

HD where now installed SIERRA seagate sata 3 TB

BUT I WILL SWITCH TO samsung EVO 850 SSD when completed postr install on hd seagate

so need also TRIM PATCH suppose

CAN I re enable VT-d after to make proper work PARALLELS virtual machine ?

thanks

We'll get there, About VT-d you can have it enabled because the dart=0 flag is added, it essentially disables the VT-d before macOS is loaded.

If you want to switch to SSD you'll need to have the patch enabled, so your assumption is correct.

Audio will be dealt with once you completed the installation successfully.

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE SERIAL PORT DISABLED IN BIOS BEFORE going any further.
