sound is easier than wifi, let's go step by step

There are several ways to get the sound working.

1. The easiest way is to use VoodooHDA : http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/728-voodoohda/

2. you can run toleda's scripts as the second way to enable the sound audio_codecdetect.command, run the command, take a snapshot and post it here

Got my wi-fi working already with some atheros kext.

About sound this first option didn't work for me.

From second option I got an output:

Last login: Fri May 19 20:59:27 on console

Damians-MBP:~ khamian$ /Users/khamian/Desktop/audio_codecdetect_v2.2.command ; exit;

File: audio_codecdetect.command_v2.2

HDMI audio codec(s)

Intel:    0x80862805

Onboard audio codec

Realtek: 0x10ec0269

Name: Realtek ALC269

Audio ID: Not supported

Current Audio ID: 12 (valid: 1, 2, or 3)

FIX, try:

1. https://github.com/toleda/audio_ALCInjection/tree/master/ssdt_hdef/

ssdt_hdef-1-with_ioreg/hdef.zip (select View Raw)

2. CLOVER/config.plist/Devices/Audio/Inject/1

Another issue is that sometimes I screen glitches after restarting computer like on the photos:

And sleep isn't working. Is there any way to fix this?

Replace the config.plist with this one, reboot and run the command once more and post the result.

What issue should that config fix? I edited my last post, please read :)

Edit: Sound is working! Hurray! :)

I've read it, the glitches might be fixed updating to 10.12.5 but to make sure you need to send the IOreg file so I can take a closer look.

Too fix the sleep you need to have Patched DSDT or to create custom SSDTs for you hardware.

:thumbsup_anim:  Hooray!

from Apple menu choose "About This Mac" and then click "System Report" from file menu click save then compress the file and post it.

From IOReg file you posted I can see you have nVidia graphics in your system maybe you can disable the Intel 3000 HD graphics and use discreet graphics instead to get rid of the Artifacts!

Ok, let me make some changes to the config.plist

replace it and reboot.

Make a copy of the existing config.plist just in case.

If it didn't work, go to BIOS and set your primary display adapter to discreet.

It not working (stuck at black screen).

I can't find that option in my bios :(

Hi today. May you have any other ideas for my graphics? And maybe how to fix the sleep - i have no idea about dsdt patching :(

I heard there is no way to run my nvidia GTM, maybe it should be disabled and HD3000 should be configured in other way? :)

Hi there,

Well actually I guess that's true about the nVidia Chipset, about the sleep problem your best chance is to find a patched DSDT for your laptop.

add these files under /EFI/Clover/ACPI/Patched and reboot see if sleep works
